Shingle Roof Repair in Everett

A roof here rarely fails all at once. Wind along the Paine Field corridor works a few tabs loose, damp air off the Snohomish River plain feeds moss on the shaded side, and one day a stain shows up on the ceiling. Construction Elite LLC handles shingle roof repair in Everett by finding the part that gave out, matching the material, and putting the fix in writing before any work starts.

Which part of the roof gave out?

Most calls we get trace back to one of three parts of the roof: the tabs, the surface granules, or a flashing detail that finally let water through. Wind along the airfield creases seal strips at rakes and eaves, and older lots with big trees drop needles that trap moisture on the field. The National Weather Service Puget Sound office publishes the regional wind and rain records that line up with many of those calls. A targeted repair keeps water out as long as the granules and decking still have life left; when they don’t, see new asphalt systems on our installation page.

1

Tabs and seal strips

Gusts from the airfield and the river valley lift whole courses along ridges and rake edges. We reseal or replace the damaged pieces, then check the neighboring rows for damage you cannot see from the driveway.

2

Granules and moss

On north-facing and tree-shaded slopes, moss holds water against the shingles and wears the granules away. We photograph the growth and the bare spots, and you choose between cleaning, a spot repair, or a partial section once you have seen the pictures.

3

Flashing and active leaks

If water is already coming inside, go to roof leak repair or call (425) 758-9982. When it can wait a few days, we still write a line-item plan that lists the shingle type, quantity, the valley or flashing work, and the timeline.

Component by component: what a repair can include

Each item below is priced on its own, so you pay for the parts that failed rather than for a whole new roof. To book a visit that is not urgent, use roof inspection & estimate or contact us to schedule.

Lifted or creased tabs

We swap out shingles the wind has bent or torn. Exposed nail lines get resealed so the next storm cannot pry them up.

Valleys and rake edges

Woven and closed-cut valleys carry the most water on the roof. We rebuild worn sections along with the rake tabs and the ice-and-water layer underneath.

Ridge and hip caps

Cracked caps are replaced one by one. Loose ridge fasteners are reset to the spacing the manufacturer calls for.

Pipe boots and wall flashing

Rubber pipe boots split with age and let water run down the vent. Where the roof meets a wall, we check that each piece of step flashing laps the shingles correctly.

Partial sections of the field

Sometimes the damage sits in one patch of the roof. We replace those courses and leave the healthy part alone.

Matching older shingles

We track down a compatible profile and color. If an exact match no longer exists, we tell you how close the blend will look.

Moss and needle cleanup

Moss and needles come off without scraping the seal strips. We also clear the paths water needs to drain.

Paperwork for claims and sales

Our photo report and written scope work for insurance adjusters. Buyers, sellers and agents can use the same file during a home sale.

Not sure about timing or roof access?Contact us and we will find a visit time that fits your week. We are also happy to talk it through on the phone first.

When a repair still makes sense, and when it does not

Shingle roof repair in Everett is the right call when the damage stays in one place, such as a few wind tabs, one valley or a run of ridge caps, and the rest of the roof still has years left. If granules are gone across the whole roof, the underlayment has failed, or the decking feels soft underfoot, we show you photos and walk through tear-off options instead. You can check our Washington contractor license with the WA Department of Labor & Industries license lookup or explore our Construction Elite LLC homepage. Compare full tear-off scopes once a repair no longer pays off.

Your written estimate spells out the 5-year labor warranty from Construction Elite LLC and any manufacturer material coverage, up to 30 years on qualifying lines. Call (425) 758-9982 to schedule the inspection.

Crew completing residential roof work

What happens on inspection day

We walk the roof

If the roof is safe to walk, we note the shingle type, its rough age, any moss, the attic ventilation, and the flashing at walls and vents. Everything we see gets photographed.

You get a written estimate

It lists how many shingles we need, how close the match will be, any valley or flashing work, and the timeline. Nothing starts until you approve it.

We repair and clean up

The crew installs to the manufacturer’s spec and runs a magnet over the yard for stray nails. When we finish, you receive the warranty paperwork for qualifying work.

Warranty terms, spelled out before you sign

Two different warranties can apply to a repair, and we explain both before you approve the work. Labor on qualifying jobs carries a 5-year warranty from Construction Elite LLC, while matched architectural shingles keep the manufacturer’s material coverage. Read the FAQ or contact us for terms on your project.

Why homeowners choose Construction Elite LLC

We treat a repair as a repair, not as a sales opening for a new roof. You get photos, a written scope, and a straight answer about how much life the roof has left.

  • Every roof walk is photographed, from tabs and valleys to ridge caps and wall flashing, so you can see each line item before approving it
  • We match architectural profiles that are still in production, and we tell you up front if the patch will show
  • Our crew follows the manufacturer’s detailing on qualifying repairs, including valleys, ridges and step flashing when they are in the scope
  • We are licensed (CONSTEL785OR) and insured in Washington, and the FAQ below links to the state lookup so you can check for yourself
  • When an inspection is free we say so, and the written estimate lists the 5-year labor warranty and any manufacturer material terms up to 30 years

We were very happy with the job Bogdan and his team did. They came on time, as promised, showed us the damage on the roof, explained everything. Completed the repair fast and cleaned everything after the work thoroughly. The roof looks like new, they also cleaned around the chimney, just because they were up on the roof. The price was excellent, we were pleasantly surprised, because other companies wanted to charge just $700 for putting tarp and waiting for 2 weeks. Strongly recommend Bogdan and his company Constractrucion elite llc.

Nazar and his team were great. Super timely when we needed a new roof, they came out assed and replaced the roof all in about a week and a half. Price was super reasonable and his team did great work even taking the time to answer all my questions. They added extra vents for airflow without any extra fee and had real attention for detail when applying finishing touches. Would highly recommend!

Nazar and his crew did an outstanding job on our roof. They were incredibly efficient, polite, and left our yard immaculate at the end of each day. The roof looks fantastic, and their attention to detail really shows. They repaired rotting rafters, installed new fascia, and added venting, all with tidy, high-quality workmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof or repairs.

Questions homeowners ask before a repair

Is it safe to check my roof myself after a windstorm?
Stay on the ground. Look for shingle pieces in the yard, dark patches where granules tore away, and gaps along the ridge or rake edges, then send us photos and we will tell you whether a same-week patch makes sense. Please do not climb a wet, steep roof.
Why would a few loose tabs turn into a bigger repair?
Under the damage we test how well the seal strips still stick, whether the rows next to it have lifted, and what shape the underlayment is in. A handful of tabs stays a spot repair, but lift running across a whole course or soft decking usually means replacing a larger section.
Should I just clean the moss off and wait?
Sometimes cleaning is enough, if the granules and underlayment underneath are still sound. Moss often hides brittle tabs and open nail lines, though, so we treat the cleaning as part of the diagnosis and repair whatever it was covering.
Which lots are hard for a crew to reach?
Narrow side yards, heavy tree cover and blocked eaves can all slow down ladder setup. We work them whenever ladders and fall protection allow a safe walk, and we note any staging limits on the estimate rather than forcing a risky climb.
Does rain in the forecast change the schedule?
It can. We plan around the forecast and cover any open area if a front arrives early. An active drip inside may need same-day stabilization first, so call (425) 758-9982 if water is coming in.
Who can use the photo report after the job?
Anyone you share it with. The photos and written scope show what failed and what we replaced, which helps insurance adjusters, real estate agents and buyers.
Where can I look up your contractor license?
Use the WA Department of Labor & Industries license lookup (CONSTEL785OR) before you schedule.
Is the inspection separate from the repair?
Yes. The inspection records the condition of the roof and produces a line-item estimate. The repair is separate work you approve, with the shingle count, matching notes, flashing details, timeline and warranty terms written out.
