Sealant on the glass often hides a gap in the underlayment or a shingle that no longer covers the flange. We open enough of the tie-in to see the overlap, then replace the self-adhered layer and the damaged courses around the opening.

Water has to step down over the head flashing and onto the shingle surface. If sealant dams that step, the next storm finds the same gap. We look at the overlap before we recommend any work.
When the glass and frame are intact, the repair stays on the roof layers around them. When the curb is soft or the unit is cracked, we say so and price that path instead of guessing from the driveway.

Bring a picture of the stain and, if you can do it safely from the ground, the glass and the courses above it. Those shots tell us whether a dry-in the same day is realistic.
Open the tie-in
